My name is Hjördis Ósk, and I am an 49 year old  Icelandic Clinical Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, and passionate explorer of the soul’s mysteries. My path has always been guided by a deep curiosity about healing, transformation, and the unseen world.

Before my path led me fully into healing and hypnotherapy, I spent more than twenty years working in business management, guiding teams and projects through many stages of growth and transformation. I hold both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. degree, and throughout my career I learned deeply about people — how they think, create, communicate, and change. Today, all those experiences weave together in my work, allowing me to meet each client with both grounded professionalism and intuitive, spiritual presence.

 

Iceland, my home, is more than a place on the map — it is living energy. A land shaped by fire and ice, waterfalls and auroras, silence and storms. Growing up surrounded by this raw beauty has shaped the way I see healing: as a balance between light and shadow, stillness and movement, grounding and expansion.

 

My heart feels most at home in nature — among the mountains, wind, and quiet presence of animals. Riding my horse Villimey through the Icelandic landscape is one of my greatest joys; it’s a moment of pure connection and freedom. I also find deep happiness in the company of animals — whose spirit and loyalty reflect the simple, grounding beauty of life here in Iceland. Whether I am on horseback or hiking the mountain trails near Reykjavík, nature is where I reconnect with myself and with all that is alive.

 

Over the years, I have explored many paths of spiritual knowledge — Chakra Healing, Crystal Healing, Angelic Healing, Akashic Records, Vedic Astrology, Numerology, and Tarot. These studies have deepened my practice, and I weave them gently into my sessions when called for, creating a holistic space where body, mind, and soul can meet.

I am currently continuing my studies in Vedic Astrology, where I’ve discovered deeper insight into soul purpose and spiritual timing. In my own chart, I am a Pisces Moon — intuitive and empathetic — with Sagittarius Rising and Sun, which bring warmth, curiosity, and a love for truth and freedom. These placements guide the way I connect with others, always seeking understanding from both the heart and the higher self.

 

Soul Saga was born from this journey — from the merging of my Icelandic roots, professional experience, and lifelong dedication to soul work. Through Soul Saga, I help others remember their own stories, find balance, and reconnect with the timeless wisdom of the soul.
